Hi,My icons 'My Computer, recycle bin and My Network Places' are changed to what looks like a text file icon. Actually I just found the shelliconcache and deleted it but those 3 icons are still the same after reboot....anyone got an solutions to this?ThanksHopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Hi,Try this go to your display properties click on the effects tab and set the default icon.
