winebottler.kronenberg.org WineBottler is a tool to make running windows binaries on OS X as simple as any other OS X app. WineBottler builds on the legacy of ies4osx and my unofficial darwine builds (both no longer developed). It consists of two parts:
Wine.app
a clean build of vanilla WineHQ source, done on Tiger with XCode 2 with all of the dependencies except: libxcomposite (not available on OS X Tiger... maybe I really need to include the current XQuarz) libhal/libdbus (not supported on OS X). libcapi20 (ISDN probably not used on OS X). libgsm (makefile not yet adapted). It is compatible with 16bit code as it is built with XCode 2. This is as usual no official WineHQ build. It runs on stock OS X 10.4 Tiger with stock X11 up to the current Snow Leopard. It is neatly wrapped in an OS X app-bundle can gently handle double-clicks on windows exe, bat, msi, lnk files you can start windows executables from the terminal, too. I.e. without setting the PATH variable: use the "open" command (i.e. open -a Wine.app /PATH/TO/THE.exe). you don't like it? just drag it to the trash, all the special wine dependencies are stored inside the bundle not in the root of your system. autoupdating with sparkle: always work with the latest build of Wine.app It comes with a status-bar menu that sports a prefix manager (based on spotlight, to find all prefixes of the current user) a little task-manager to force-quit hanging exes an easy, searchable and autoupdating front-end for winetricks you can download this package as a standalone from here: winebottler.kronenberg.org/wine

Please, as long as there is no official supported binary for OS X on WineHQ, do not post any bugs directly to WineHQs bugzilla. Any Issues directly related with Wine.app or WineBottler.app should be reported to our own bug-tracking system.
