Guitar Rig is a software effects for electric guitar or bass, is a software developed by Native Instruments and was first introduced to the pubic is around 2004. Guitar Rig 5 Pro introduced and released to the public by Native Instruments around the end of 2011, exactly on the 1st of September 2011. Lately, Native Instruments released the newest version Guitar Rig 5 Pro v5.1.0.

Guitar Rig 5 Pro v5.1 using a modeling amplifier to allow real-time digital signal processing in both independent and studio (VST / DXi / RTAS / AU) environment. Guitar Rig environment is modular system, providing capabilities for multiple amplifiers, effects pedals and rack mounted hardware. This software simulates a number of devices such as preamplifiers, cabinets and microphones under pseudonyms.
