We all like to customize our desktop, be it themes, system icons, logon screens or bootscreen. This particular article is on, how to change Windows 7 Start Menu Orb.

The method is using a program called, windows 7 start menu changer by  Kishan Bagaria.

Its a tiny little program which instantly changes your Start Orb to anything you like, the program is shown in the picture below.

The current version of this program is 4.0, in this new version can patch your memory instead of patching your system files, which makes it more safe and no system change is done.



1. Open the program as an administrator otherwise you may get an error. Click on Change button.

2. Then browse for the downloaded orbs.

3. Click on the one which you prefer.

4. Your computer may freeze for a small moment of time, this is not a problem as it is changing the orb.

5. You need not restart and if you want to restore the orb back to original, then just click on Restore button.

NOTE: Please do make a system restore point before the process.
