Hi Landry, there is a simple way of Making your Desktop Icon Transparent. Here the method to That. Click on Start button Select Settings Go to Control Panel In Control Panel Double click on System, Select Advanced Tab Under Advanced Tab Select Settings button in Performance area In Visual Effects tab Check the second Last option Which is "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop" Click Apply and OK To save changes. Note:sometimes you may need to Restart your Pc to see any changes. #3 11-11-2008 Landry Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 49 Re: How to make your Desktop Icons Transparent ?
