How to open Administrative Command Prompt without Run dialogue box in Windows 8?

Windows 8 comes with the all new Metro Interface having lots of new features, doing many thongs in a different and easier way. Up to Windows 7there was only one way to open Command Prompt by first opening the Run dialogue box and then typing cmd and hittingEnterWindows 8brings another two options for opening Command Prompt with administrative privilege along with the old one. These two ways are shown in this tutorial.

Method 1: From Task Manager

1. Open the Task Manager by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting Task Manager.

2. Now click on File -> Run new task.

3. Type cmd in the textbox and select Create this task with administrative privilege & hit Enter.

Now you are done, you will see the Command prompt is opened with the administrative privilege.

Method 2: From Quick Access Menu

1. Press Windows + X to open Quick Access Menu. Click on Command Prompt (Admin) to open
Command Prompt with administrative privilege.
